Grants are a type of financial aid award based on need that you don't need to repay. Listed below are grants awarded to eligible students by the University of Colorado Denver|Anschutz Medical Campus (CU Denver|Anschutz).
Federal Grants
- Federal Pell Grant - Awarded to eligible undergraduate students with exceptional financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA. The amount of the award is based on the student’s FAFSA and enrollment.
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) - Awarded to eligible undergraduate students with exceptional financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA.
- TEACH Grant - Awarded to eligible students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.
State Grants
- Colorado Graduate Grant - Awarded to eligible graduate/professional students who are Colorado residents with documented financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA, awarded by CU Denver|Anschutz and funded by the State of Colorado. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours to receive this award.
- Colorado Student Grant - Awarded to eligible undergraduate students who are Colorado residents with documented financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA, awarded by CU Denver|Anschutz and funded by the State of Colorado. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to receive this award.
Institutional Grants
- CU Anschutz Institutional Grants - Awarded to eligible CU Anschutz undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with documented financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA.
- CU Denver University Need Grant - Awarded to eligible CU Denver undergraduate students with documented financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA.
