Institutional Loans - Title IV
Federal Title IV Institutional Loans are funds that have been provided by various lenders to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and awarded by the Financial Aid Office. Eligibility, terms and conditions vary by loan. Please refer to your promissory note or contact the Student Loan Repayment section for more information.

Students interested in applying for these Title IV loans, must complete the FAFSA.
Loan Award:
If you are awarded an Institutional Loan, you will accept your award in Student Center at www.ucdenver.edu/UCDAccess.

Institutional Loans - Title VII:
Federal Title VII loans are provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
- The loans have no origination or guarantee fees.
- The interest rate is fixed at 5% for the life of the loan.
- Interest shall start accruing one year after the student has graduated or is no longer enrolled full-time.
- The grace period is 12 months and begins after the student has graduated or is no longer enrolled full-time.

- Students interested in applying for Title VII loans, must complete the FAFSA.
- The Title VII aid application form is distributed to the Schools of Dental, Medicine and Pharmacy students sometime in September.
Loan Award:
Selected recipients will be awarded in Student Center and notification sent to their university e-mail account. If you are awarded a Title VII Loan, go to Student Center at www.ucdenver.edu/UCDAccess to view your award and complete the Promissary Note.
