| After submitting your FAFSA |
FAFSA processor notifies you that Student Aid Report (SAR) is available to view and print. Review SAR for errors, correct the FAFSA, if needed and re-submit. |
| Selected for verification |
SAR comments section will indicate whether you were "selected for verification." This means that we will be requesting additional documents. Check Student Center at (www.ucdenver.edu/UCDAccess) to see if additional documents are requested. |
| January (Spring semester) |
Financial aid disburses (pays) into your student account if all required documents have been received and processed by the Financial Aid Office. Funds remaining after tuition and fees are paid are refunded to you by the Bursar's Office. |
| early February |
Spring Census date. Financial aid adjusted based on student's enrollment status. Financial aid recipients could see an adjustment in their financial aid award for Spring semester if their enrollment dropped. |
| May |
Financial aid awarded if all required documents have been received and processed. An award notice is sent via e-mail.
Calculate your bill and see if you have enough financial aid to cover your costs and plan for out-of-pocket expenses such as books, supplies and housing. |

New University of Colorado Denver|Anschutz Medical Campus loan borrowers must complete Direct Loan Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note (MPN) at studentloans.gov.
ALL financial aid recipients are responsible for reading and understanding the Policies & Procedures for Receiving Your Funds. |
