As
of January 2010, Direct Deposit is the required method of issuing
student account refunds to the university students with credit balances.
Students are strongly encouraged to sign up for Direct Deposit well in
advance of any anticpated student account refunds, and may do so online
via the "Finances" section of the UCDAccess portal.
Students will no longer be able to pick up their refund check from the Bursar's Office - refunds will only be issued via Direct Deposit or through the mail. Direct Deposit refunds
will be issued on a nightly basis. Paper refund checks will be mailed
once a week to students who have not yet sign up for Direct Deposit.
