ADA Accommodations

Information for Graduates and Guests with Special Needs


Graduates will be asked during the registration process to identify any special accommodations that may be needed to participate fully in the commencement ceremony. There are ramps leading to the stage on both sides to accommodate wheelchairs and anyone who is unable to negotiate stairs. Sign language interpreters can be arranged as needed. If you would like to speak with the commencement coordinator about special arrangements for the ceremony, please email



Reserved seating is available for guests in wheelchairs as well as those who are hearing or vision impaired. A sign language interpreter will be present during the ceremony. Each graduate may request up to eight (8) ADA tickets during the registration process. The ADA seating section is located to the left of the graduates as you are facing the stage.
Designated handicapped parking is available in the Lot TBD. A parking pass issued by the commencement office is required. All disability parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
