ADA Accommodations

Information for Graduates and Guests with Special Needs


Graduates will be asked during the registration process to identify any special accommodations that may be needed to participate fully in the commencement ceremony. There are ramps leading to the stage on both sides to accommodate wheelchairs and anyone who is unable to negotiate stairs. Sign language interpreters can be arranged as needed. The Colorado Convention Center provides easy access for guests with permanent or temporary disabilities. Designated handicapped parking is available on all three levels of the parking garage. A valid state-issued handicapped placard or license plate is required. All disability parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and requires payment at the automated pay stations.
Reserved seating is available for guests in wheelchairs as well as those who are hearing or vision impaired. A sign language interpreter will be present during the ceremony. Each graduate may request up to four (4) ADA tickets during the registration process for guests with disabilities. Ticket requests cannot be accommodated after commencement registration closes on November 4th.
