  • Spend time in a local Colorado community to learn first-hand about the community and begin relationship-building.

CIT is for researchers from all disciplines seeking new skills and knowledge. Junior faculty, early career researchers, doctoral students, and research team members are encouraged to apply.

"Beyond the Publishable Paper: Finding the Story in Your Research" Workshop

Join us for our first workshop in a series which focus on methods for disseminating research results beyond publishing in peer-review papers. This three-hour interactive, hands-on workshop will teach participants the art of effective storytelling. Kaiser Permanente’s Experiential Learning Team will be performing Loose Change, a research-based theatrical production developed from a Care Equity Project. Experiential activities will build skills for taking data off the paper and into community in meaningful ways.

When: Tuesday June 2, 2015 from 3pm to 6pm

The Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI) Community Engagement & Research and the Partnership of Academicians and Communities in Translation (PACT) are currently accepting Partnership Development applications for funding.  This funding opportunity is open to new or potential community and academic partners who are interested in a Partnership Development (PD) project dedicated to relationship building; exploration of shared areas of interest; and the development of a research project focused on T3/T4 Translational Research, which includes research evaluating the translation of evidence-based interventions or practices into real world, clinical and community settings.

Description:   The Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI) Community Engagement & Research and the Partnership of Academicians and Communities in Translation (PACT) are currently accepting Joint Pilot Project applications for funding.  This funding opportunity is open to established community and academic partners who are interested in a Joint Pilot (JP) project and seek funds for a well-defined joint research project that may produce preliminary data for future competitive grant applications focused on T3/T4 Translational Research, which includes research evaluating the translation of evidence-based interventions or practices into real world, clinical and community settings.
