Music Business
"I was determined to move to
Nashville and do an internship for a
semester. CMT happened to be my
number one choice, and they called
me back.
While there, I learned a lot about
how a music television station
operates and a lot about the
country music industry. I also
gained more confidence in my
abilities to learn new things quickly.
I’m studying music business and
I’m particularly interested in music
marketing, an area in which I got a
ton of firsthand experience. One of
my favorite things was attending
brainstorming sessions with the
mobile department.
Working at CMT was an amazing
experience. Not only did I get to
apply all the knowledge I learned
in the classroom, but I also got to
meet many talented people and
work in my dream environment.
