Our admissions and K-12 Outreach staff would love to meet your students on their home turf. There are several options for us to come to you:
Information Booth at Your Event
A CU Denver representative will host an information table at your event to answer student questions about the college experience, our campus and programs, as well as providing reference materials. We can host a table for your college fair, parent night, PTA meeting, parent-teacher conferences, in-service, lunch time, or any other event involving students, staff and/or parents.
Presentation at Your School
A representative(s) from our phenomenal CU Denver faculty, staff and/or student body will go to your school to present information about college life, CU Denver and the programs offered. Our speakers come from a variety of backgrounds and presentations can be tailored to your specific needs.
The admissions process can be challenging; let us guide your students through it! An admissions counselor will come to your school to speak with students who are already in the application process for CU Denver. The visit could include hands-on help with the admissions application and/or assistance with the financial aid process.
Latino Night (Spanish outreach program hosted at your school)
A great opportunity for your students, parents, family, staff and teachers to meet CU Denver representatives and hear presentations in Spanish. The evening program may include: a guest lecture from a professor, a student panel, presentations on admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and DREAMer resources (ASSET, DACA, and undocumented student services).
An outstanding resource to check out on your own:
Collaborative Financial Literacy Presentation
Understanding financial matters can be daunting. We can arrange for various presentations that explore and provide awareness of the importance of financial wellness. Topics may include: college funding information, managing personal finances, using credit responsibly, understanding student loans and much more. These presentations can be held in conjunction with your classroom and school events and may include students, parents, counselors and teachers.
