Parent and Family Program

The Office of Parent and Family Programs recognizes the important role that parents and families play in supporting our students to Learn with Purpose and excel at the University of Colorado Denver. Our goal is to be your first stop for campus news, events, and resources to best support your student. Our office strives to support student success and student retention through parent and family involvement within the university community. Events and programming will create a platform for dialogue between the university, students, and parent/family members.
Get involved! Family Advisory Board (FAB):​
We're looking for parents and family members like you to help guide us as we provide the resources you need to support your students. That's why we developed the Family Advisory Board. Be part of the conversation, help direct our mission, plan and volunteer at events, develop connections with other parents and famililies. The board meets monthly and we're accepting new members now. Being the first in your family to ​attend college is something to be very proud of. CU Denver is committed to serving first generation students and their families, who often face unique challenges and great accomplishments.
