Improve your snooze: Learn about ways you can
improve your sleep habits - Sleep smarter by evaluating your sleep needs,
responding to those needs, and maintaining a healthy, rested body.
Only nine percent of CU Denver & CU Anschutz students consume the
recommended 5 daily servings of fruits and vegetables. Eating more fruits and
vegetables as part of an overall healthy diet is associated with decreased risk
of heart disease, certain cancers, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. Explore these creative ways to bring fruits &
vegetables into your diet.
Student Wellness Needs & Interests Survey: The results are in! Learn about health and wellness priorities
of CU Anschutz students and check out what the Student Health Promotion Committee
is doing to address student needs.
Healthy Campus Steering Committee (HCSC) & Student Health Promotion Committee (SHPC): The HCSC is made up of campus leadership and provides strategic direction for student health promotion initiatives. The SHPC is led by students from each school/college and focuses on implementing health initiatives and creating a culture of campus health & wellness. CUltivate Wellness! Physical activity for
to the Wellness Needs & Interests Survey, students are most interested
in free group fitness classes, competitive or fun runs, and additional
intramural sports. The Student
Health Promotion Committee (SHPC) is currently working towards implementing
physical activity initiatives this spring to address student interests. Follow
