Equipment Check Out
You may check out volleyball net sets, basketballs, footballs, frisbees, etc. from the Student Assistance Office for use on or off campus. Also, Anschutz Campus Student Senate has a TOY BOX for all students to use - stop by Lounge 500 on the first floor of Building 500 and check out all the lawn games / equipment you can use on campus!
Outdoor Events On Campus
Students may hold events on campus that are related to Anschutz Campus student organizations or class activities. Check with your program student affairs administrator for more information. All interdisciplinary student organizations, Student Academic Communities, and classes/councils/affiliated student organizations within the Graduate School - (Basic Sciences), School of Dental Medicine, and Physician Assistant programs come see the Student Assistance Office.
General's Park
Close Enough to be On Campus is the General's Park (actually part of Aurora Park and Recreation). General's Park is located on the northeast corner of Colfax/Peoria.
Students can reserve shelters / picnic areas in the Park for class get togethers/BBQs and other events. Start the reservation process by going to the City of Aurora web site.
