Referred Tutoring
The tutoring program managed by the Office of Campus Student Services at the Anschutz Medical Campus hires current AMC students to help other AMC students manage course content. This service assists with 'basic science' course content, and is available to all students enrolled as degree seeking students at AMC.
Tutoring for coursework which is considered as 'Skills coursework' or specific only to a college/school/program professional training is managed by the college/school/program in which the student is enrolled.
In order for the office to pay for a student's tutoring assistance, the student must be referred as 'failing' or 'in danger of failing' by their faculty/student affairs office. Students will receive tutor contact information and make arrangements to meet with designated tutor/s for the specific course. Feel free to email Cheryl.Gibson@ucdenver.edu for more information.

Non-Referred Tutoring
At AMC, the various programs have so much material to learn, current students compare it to trying to drink out of a fire hose.
Tutors are hired by the Office of Campus Student Services to help students who have been referred by their faculty/student affairs offices as having difficulty with course content. Depending on tutor availability, students seeking review assistance without referral may also use these resources on a pay-as-you-go basis.
