Congratulations on your admission to the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver)!

 
Freshman Requirement
Participating in New Student Orientation is your next step to officially becoming a CU Denver Student! All first-time freshmen are required to complete orientation. Freshmen who are admitted for the fall 2014 semester must complete a summer orientation. Freshman orientation is a full day, so please plan accordingly. Freshmen can sign up for a summer orientation session by visiting the UCDAccess student portal, beginning March 18, 2014.

All Freshman Orientations will take place in North Classroom.

For the purposes of New Student Orientation (NSO), first-time freshmen are students who have NOT completed any college course(s) AFTER earning their high school diploma or GED.
 

Student Checklist
To ensure that you are able to register for spring semester courses, complete the items on the New Student Checklist BEFORE completing the orientation requirement.  For questions about advising, please contact your advisor and schedule a REQUIRED initial meeting to discuss course availability and selection.

Completing New Student Orientation is your next step to officially becoming a CU Denver student! All first-time freshmen are required to complete orientation. Freshmen who are admitted for the fall 2014 semester must attend a Summer orientation. Freshmen can sign up for an orientation session (Beginning March 18, 2014) by visiting the UCDAccess student portal. Below are the dates orientation will be offered.

Available Dates:

o    April 25 (CLOSED)
o    May 9 and 30 
(CLOSED)
o    June 6 (CLOSED), 13 (CLOSED), 20 (CLOSED) and 27
o    July 11 and 18

Classes fill up on a first come, first served basis. So sign up for the earliest orientation session possible!

First-time freshmen can sign up for an orientation date by visiting their UCDAccess student portal.

1. Login to UCDAccess (www.ucdenver.edu/ucdaccess)
2. Select your Student tab 
3. Select Sign up for Orientation (right hand column)

To change your orientation reservation, repeat steps 1-3.

Parking and Location 

Parking
Park in the Tivoli Parking Garage (Parking Map) by entering 9th Street off Auraria Parkway. Parking ONLY for the Tivoli Parking Garage will be validated if you bring your ticket to the orientation check-in desk.
