Employers can utilize a variety of Career Center services to meet their hiring needs.
To discuss these services in more detail or to strategize possibilities, please contact Rebecca Martinez, Employer Relations & Outreach Coordinator, at 303.556.6156 or.
Job Postings
·         Register as an employer on our online job board, Handshake, and post part-time or full-time positions exclusively for CU Denver students and alumni.
Information Tables
·         Reserve a table in our busy Tivoli Student Union, where students from all three of the institutions on the Auraria Campus gather for activities, meetings, and studying.  Registration Fees apply.
Internship & Job Fair
·         Held once each semester (fall & spring), the Internship & Job Fair gives employers the opportunity to meet face-to-face with students from all majors and class levels who are seeking internship, part-time, or full-time positions.  Registration Fees apply.
Information Sessions
·         Generally 60 – 90 minutes long, employers can present to a targeted student population on any professional development topic of interest to the employer (e.g., workplace etiquette, interviewing skills, etc.) or give a general company overview that includes career opportunities and criteria for employment at the company/organization.
Spotlight Events
·         Employers can gain campus exposure and meet with students one-on-one during Spotlight Events such as a day of Mock Interviews, Resume Reviews, Employer “Office Hours,” or other events where employers provide professional guidance and feedback on specific career-related skills and topics.
Classroom Presentations
·         Faculty members will determine on an individual basis if an employer presentation in the classroom is appropriate (i.e., a topic related to class material) and feasible based on timing as well as the class schedule.  Please contact the Career Center for assistance in determining when a classroom presentation may be most suitable.
On-Campus Interviews
·         The Career Center welcomes eligible employers to utilize our facilities at CU Denver to conduct interviews with students for internship and full-time positions.  Please contact the Career Center as soon as possible after determining several potential interview dates so that employer preferences can be accommodated and marketing for students can be distributed in a timely manner.
