If you would like to nominate the students you have mentored to be considered for the Outstanding Student Research and Creative Activities Awards, please complete the Student Nomination Form.
- Four students (or groups of students) will be selected to receive the awards – 2 graduate students and 2 undergraduates
- Each winner (or group of presenters) will receive a $250 cash award in recognition of their outstanding scholarly activity.
- Each award winner will be required to give a 12 minute presentation about their research or creative activity to an audience of faculty and peers at the morning General Session on April 19th, 2013.
The deadline to submit nominations is Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
Faculty mentors are strongly encouraged to attend the Symposium and to assist their students with presentation practice or poster design, particularly students who have not yet presented their work for a general audience. The poster session and exhibits are intended to stimulate discussion among presenters, faculty mentors, and the general audience.
