The Learning Resources Center's staff has a combined 25 years of experience in working with students, faculty and staff regarding all tutorial services available, including scheduled tutoring, open labs, supplemental instruction and study skills. Below are brief summaries of those staff members who organize, plan and coordinate these services each term.
Alan Churchill - Program Assistant
Alan has been the LRC's Program Assistant since March 2008. Mr. Churchill is currently working towards his second degree here at the University of Colorado Denver in Sports Management where he hopes to pursue his dream of working for a professional sports team. Alan brings a great deal of professionalism and experience to the LRC through his experiences as a Facility Manager for a Denver-local market research firm as well as through the skills he gained at Colorado National Speedway where he worked for 10 years. During his free time, Alan enjoys spending time in the mountains camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking and rock-climbing. He is also extremely passionate about spending time with his family, playing sports, running and reading a good book. His experience and knowledge in customer relations, project management and communications provides students, staff and faculty with a knowledgeable and friendly link to the tutoring services provided at the LRC. This ability to connect with people, mixed with his always cheerful and hard-working attitude, is welcoming and encouraging for anyone visiting the Center.
