Employers in the Classroom

Employer Information

Employers in the Classroom is a new signature program which the CU Denver Career Center recently launched to improve student’s employability and enhance employer-faculty relations. This program is designed to connect employers and faculty within the classroom to help develop student’s key professional skills and/or learn more about industry specific career options. Employers from all fields are invited to fill out an information form to be matched with faculty members that are looking to enhance their class syllabus with experts in industry.

Suggested presentation topics include:
  • Careers in XYZ Industry
  • How to be Successful in XYZ Industry
  • Industry specific soft skills such as, résumé writing, interviewing, or networking

To participate, please click here to submit your contact and presentation information. You will then be contacted by a University of Colorado Denver faculty member to coordinate a date to present.

The purpose of this program is to educate students in industry specific topics; therefore, this is not an opportunity to sell products or recruit for positions at your organization. If you are interested in scheduling an Information Session to discuss opportunities in your organization, please contact Roseann Wagner at 303-556-3998 or roseann.wagner@ucdenver.edu.

*Notice: filling out the form is not a guarantee that you will be invited to present.
