ALUMNI POLICIES

The Career Center offers a full range of career assistance to all UCD alumni, including online and in-person career-related services.
 
Recent graduates (within one year of graduation):
All resources provided by the Career Center are available to recent graduates for the first 12 months following graduation at no additional cost.
 
Alumni past one year of graduation:
Alumni are welcome to use resources provided by the Career Center. There is a cost associated with some resources. Please see the eligibility and fees chart below.
 


 

RECIPROCITY

 
Seeking employment in a different city or state? Need assistance finding resources near your new location? The Career Center will be happy to write to a university of your choice requesting reciprocity for you. Limited to three letters. Please provide the email and physical address of the university you are requesting reciprocal services from in an email to careercenter@ucdenver.edu. Within this email indicate your name, student ID, and date you graduated. A reciprocity letter will be sent to the university you requested within 72 hours and you will be copied in the email.

Not in the Denver area? You can still schedule an appointment via phone or Skype with a Career Counselor. Please call 303-556-2250 to schedule an appointment.
Email resume reviews
Email us your resume. Emailed resumes will be reviewed by a career counselor in the order in which they were received, Monday through Thursday. Please allow 3 business days to receive feedback. Email your resume in a Microsoft document to careercenter@ucdenver.edu.

CU DENVER ALUMNI MENTOR

PROGRAM

 
Interested in giving back to your Alma Mater? Consider mentoring a current student. CU Denver’s Career Center has an Alumni Mentor Program, where CU Denver Alumni mentor current CU Denver students (primarily juniors or seniors), with the focus being helping them network and find opportunities in their career field of interest. The formal program lasts one semester and requires approximately 10 hours of your time. You can donate more of your time if you’d like!
The expectations of the program include:
·         Professional conduct
·         Respecting each other’s time by consistently attending established meetings
·         Report any issues or concerns as early as possible
·         Complete the mentoring entrance and exit surveys
·         Commitment through the end of the semester

Our Internship & Job Fair however, is open to everyone.
