
Jonne Kraning became Director of the Career Center in October 2007 and brings over 20 years of experience in career development to the CU Denver Career Center. Jonne holds an M.Ed in Counseling with a specialization in Career Counseling from Colorado State University and additional training through JFK University in Walnut Creek, California and has completed training through the Career Coach Academy in their Certified Career Management Coach program. In addition to CU Denver, where she was the Assistant Director of Career Planning for eight years, she has worked with Career Centers at CSU and CU Boulder.
Jonne is nationally qualified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, StrengthQuest, and trained on over 20 other assessments. Jonne is committed to professionalism and has served in leadership capacities as President of the Collegiate Career Services Association for Colorado and Wyoming, President of the Colorado Career Development Association, involvement with the National Career Development Association, International Career Development Association, and National and Mountain States Association of Colleges and Employers.
She has been invited to speak locally, regionally, nationally and most recently internationally at the International College of Beijing in China. She is also the author of numerous professional articles. Jonne's passion is helping people find meaningful work while identifying their best natural talents, strengths, interests, and values.

Jessie Czerwonka is Assistant Director, serving both undergraduate and graduate students at the CU Denver Career Center since June of 2007. She has her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education with a focus in Career Counseling from CU Denver, is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certified Practitioner, and a National Certified Counselor. Jessie is actively pursuing her Licensed Professional Counselor certification and has served in multiple board member positions in the Colorado Career Development Association (CCDA).
As Assistant Director, Jessie provides assistance in major and career planning; resume, CV, and cover letter development; interviewing skills; networking tactics; and the basics of the job search process. She has assisted in career fairs and attended CCDA, Collegiate Career Services Association of Colorado & Wyoming (CCSA), and Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges & Employers (MPACE) functions. Kaitlin Luna is the newest member of our Career Counseling team. Kaitlin comes to us with five years of experience in higher education where she helped meet students’ academic and career needs. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling Student Affairs at Northern Arizona University in Fall 2010. Since then she has been trained in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and StrengthsQuest, which are assessments that help students learn about who they are and how that relates to career. As a career counselor, Kaitlin assists students as they explore majors and career paths, develop job search strategies including résumé and cover letter writing, and building an online presence. Kaitlin also works with students to help them develop a networking plan and prepare for interviews.
She is particularly skilled at teaching job search strategies using social media. Kaitlin also coordinates the Career Center’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Wordpress posts. She is involved with the Colorado Career Development Association (CCDA) and holds a position on the board as Treasurer.

Roseann Wagner has been with the Career Center since March 2007. Her position as Employment Services Coordinator keeps her busy creating opportunities for employers and students to connect. On a daily basis she continuously communicates with employers to help develop strategic recruiting plans, ensures job announcements are posted on the Career Center’s online job database, Just ASK! Job Link, and coordinates career focused events for students and alumni.
During her 5 years at the University of Colorado Denver, Roseann has coordinated over 15 career fairs, 50 on campus interview schedules, and 50 career events.
Roseann also serves as the staff advisor for the Vietnamese Student Association, an active student club on campus.
Adam Hart started working at the Career Center in December of 2010. He is the lead Copywriter/Editor and Graphic designer for the Career Center. His main interests lie in writing and in technology. With a background in physics and computer-aided drafting, Adam utilizes his broad experience to quickly adapt to new software environments and other technology.

Wendy Vue is a Front Desk Assistant and also helps with event planning at the Career Center. She is currently in her third year studying Business Management with a minor in Psychology. Wendy is also Secretary to the Hmong American Association of Colorado this year and in her free time she plays volleyball, volunteers, knits, scrapbooks, and fishes.
