Hollie is a 2010 recipient and expects to graduate in May of 2013. She has rotations coming up and plans to take her boards in April. Hollie’s studies have been impacted by the fact that her mother became ill after she started school and recently died. Hollie plans to work with the Colorado Rural Health Scholars program this summer introducing high school students to health care professions. She looks forward to a residency in family medicine with a focus on rural practice. She would like to practice in Pueblo or Manzanola.
