The CU Denver Career Center hosted an Employer & Faculty Breakfast on August 16 to inform and educate both faculty and employers about the Career Center’s services and to showcase our new signature programs.
The new Career Center Initiatives include:
Employers in the Classroom is a new signature program launched to improve students' employability and enhance employer-faculty relations. This program is designed to connect employers and faculty within the classroom to help develop students' key professional skills and/or learn more about industry specific career options. Employers from all fields are invited to fill out an information form to be matched with faculty members that are looking to enhance their class syllabus with experts in industry.
The Certificate of Employability is an innovative new program intended as a functional resource to supplement the information available from Career Center staff. The program may be utilized by the CU Denver Career Center staff, CU Denver faculty, and all eligible CU Denver students as either a self-paced informational course or as a primer for students entering the professional work environment both during and upon exiting their educational program.
