The Postdoc Association Network Project is a collaborative effort to produce a list of contacts willing to be involved in assisting graduate students and postdocs to obtain positions, and to develop relationships with mentors outside of the laboratory. Launched originally by officers in the Alternatives in Science group at a jointly run training seminar on February 2, 2011, it is hoped that the project will swell from the grass roots of the graduate student and postdoc fellow populations.
