YUMPs (Young Upwardly Mobile Professors)

YUMPS is a program for untenured professors on the tenure track. We offer meetings or workshops throughout the year focused on the tenure process. Watch our event calendar for YUMPS events. See the resources below for information on attaining tenure.

The YUMPS program also provides small grants (usually $400-$500) for conference attendance, research assistants, books or software. YUMPs funds must be matched by the recipient's department or school/college. See our faculty grants page for more information.

• Strategies for Success is a mentoring manual for tenure track faculty that describes professional development tasks for tenure preparation and explains the academic review process.
