Center for Faculty Development Grants


The Center for Faculty Development seeks to enhance the university's intellectual life by supporting faculty research, creative work, and teaching. Each of the three grants we offer target the needs of specific faculty and stimulate productivity in scholarship and teaching.

 Young Upwardly Mobile Professor Grants

YUMPs (Young Upwardly Mobile Professors) grants provide support to tenure-track faculty at the University of Colorado Denver (downtown) for activities that advance them toward tenure.

 CFD Teaching Enhancement Grants

Center for Faculty Development (CFD) Teaching Enhancement Grants support projects that seek to develop innovations in teaching or enhance a faculty members pedagogical practice. Full-time faculty (tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure track) are eligible for funds.

 Lecturer's Teaching Enhancement Grants

These grant funds are targeted to the needs of non-tenure track part-time faculty (Lecturers). These funds support projects that seek to develop innovations in teaching or enhance the pedagogical practice of our part-time faculty.​
