Faculty Assembly Overview
The UCD Faculty Assembly is the elected body that represents the members of the UCD Faculty. The Assembly exists and derives its power from the authority delegated to it by the CU Board of Regents. The constitution and bylaws of the AMC Faculty Assembly are consistent with the Laws of the Board of Regents. The Assembly advises and recommends action to the UCD Chancellor and the CU Faculty Council concerning matters related to academic policy and ethics. The organization and responsibilities of this body are established in the constitution and bylaws.
The AMC Faculty Assembly consists of elected representatives from each of the campus Schools / Colleges and the Health Science Library, and the Chairs of the faculty governing organizations in each of the schools / colleges.
Officers & Meetings
The Officers of the AMC Faculty Assembly are elected from the membership. The Chair is a member of the Chancellor's Executive Committee. The Chair also serves as the primary campus representative to the CU Faculty Council. The Assembly meets monthly and welcomes all UCD Faculty members to attend the meetings.
