Staff Council chooses Harn as Employee of the Month for February 2013


Congratulations to Lindsay Harn

Congratulations to Lindsay Harn, winner of the February 2013 Classified Employee of the Month. Lindsay was hired in March, 2011. She is currently an Administrative Assistant II with the School of Education and Human Development.

Lindsay is a crucial member of the School of Educations workforce. Ashley Hilyard, with the School of Education says of Lindsay, “Lindsay is more than willing to help others with tasks and even though she has a full work load, she is always willing to take on new tasks and learn new things, as well as teach others. She is always willing to volunteer for events that the University puts on.”

Tim Halliday, also of the School of Education, states, “Lindsay has the ideal personality of someone you want to work with. She is kind and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. She is very creative and I appreciate all of the good ideas she brings to the table. She gets things done in a timely manner, which makes life easier for all of us.”

Amy Brenton with the School of Education has the following to say of Lindsay, “Lindsay goes above and beyond in her position. She is always willing to help, answers questions, and discusses her experience. She is constantly looking for ways to improve office procedures. She is very organized and knowledgeable when speaking to students and coworkers. In addition, Lindsay is involved in the School of Education and Human Development’s Recognition Council and encourages everyone in our department to be involved.”
