As of Oct. 1, 2013 -- 911 calls dialed from desk phones in buildings on the Auraria Campus automatically are routed the Auraria Police Department. 911 calls dialed from CU Denver buildings east of Speer (CU Building, Lawrence Street Center and Business School) will be routed to Denver Police.

Cell phones at any location are routed to the nearest public law enforcement agency.

How you'll know if conditions such as weather or other threats are affecting normal schedules:  
University safety and facilities personnel regularly monitor developing weather forecasts and conditions. They then provide the latest information to University leadership when conditions pose a safety threat to students, faculty, staff or visitors at any of our locations. University leadership will determine if conditions require campus closure(s) or modified schedules.
When inclement weather develops overnight, University leaders assess conditions and announce any schedule adjustments by 5 a.m.

--Students, faculty and staff can self-register for text and voice messages on your cell phone via Rave ( Please make sure your contact information is current in the CU Portal Access.
--Monitor Denver area television and radio reports
