University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) students, faculty, residents or staff members* can get a seasonal flu vaccine through UC Denver's Occupational Health office. Remember, health authorities are advising that you get a seasonal flu vaccine even if you've already received the H1N1 flu-specific vaccine. That's because the H1N1 flu vaccine will not protect you from the seasonal flu or Influenza A.
To obtain the seasonal flu or Influenza A vaccine, you must call 303-724-0345 to schedule an appointment through the UC Denver Occupational Health Clinic on the AMC Campus.
Cost for seasonal flu or Influenza A vaccine: $15
*Must show a valid UC Denver photo ID
(Sept. 24, 2009) While we await the availability of a vaccine to specifically address the H1N1 ("swine") flu virus, everyone is strongly encouraged to consider getting a "seasonal flu" vaccine to protect against previously identified flu strains.
