Anschutz Medical Campus goes tobacco free

Ban commences April 6

One of our nation’s leading causes of disease and death will soon be completely banned from the entire Anschutz Medical Campus.

On April 6, 2009, the University of Colorado Denver will join the University of Colorado Hospital and The Children’s Hospital in instituting a tobacco-free policy campus wide. This new policy will be phased in during the next six months with a complete ban commencing on Oct. 31, 2009. For information or assistance with smoking cessation resources or implementation of this policy, please call Human Resources at 303-315-2700.
