Seminar Series

The PDA holds a monthly seminar series to give postdocs the opportunity to share their science and practice public speaking amongst peers. Speakers receive official feedback and all attendees receive pizza.

The next seminar will be Thursday, December 19th with talks from two great postdocs.

All seminars will be held from 12-1 PM in Hensel Phelps West and refreshments will be provided through sponsorship by Promega.

There are still a few slots available on this year's schedule, see additional information below.

For more information contact the Seminar Series Chairs, Rushita Bagchi and Frehiwet Hailu, or the PDA.
The PDA is looking for postdocs to present their research during the 2019-2020 Seminar Series. We are looking for two postdocs to present a 25 min (including time for Q&A) talk at each monthly seminar. This is a great opportunity to present your work to your peers while gaining feedback from postdocs across campus!

There are a few incentives for participating:
  • Audience feedback questionnaires for each talk will be shared with the speaker .
  • The top talk given by a postdoc during the 2019-2020 season will be rewarded at the Postdoc Research Day on campus.
  • Promega will be graciously providing pizza at the seminar again this year!

If you are interested in presenting at the seminar series, please contact your departmental representative or the PDA (PostdocAssociation@ucdenver.edu) at your earliest convenience. Spots will be assigned on a first come basis.
