The Electronic Security Division consults tenants and others occupying University space to establish the operating hours for each structure. In most cases, the default unlock hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, some exterior doors are locked at all times—the building’s function determines whether it remains locked or is open during the workday.
If special events, conferences, etc., necessitate temporary changes be made to an area/building’s unlock schedule, please contact the designated building/area administrator. If you are unable to determine who this is, please contact the Security Badging Office at 303.724.0399.
Once a designated approver’s request is received by the Security Badging Office, the programming of affected doors and alarms accordingly will be adjusted, based on campus security protocol. If the interior security for the remainder of the building or area could be compromised by such adjustments, the event may require University Police services or limited perimeter access.
