BLS for Health Care Providers
The Office of Alumni Relations and the Physical Therapy Program Alumni Association offer Basic Life Support certification* (CPR) for CU alumni, faculty, staff, students, and unaffiliated community members.
Two options are available:
- BLS for Healthcare Providers: A traditional classroom course where Basic Life Support is taught and demonstrated. Participants learn to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, and use an AED. Participants will receive the BLS for Healthcare Providers Manual.

- BLS Skills Check Off: Participants take Basic Life Support Online Part 1 through the American Heart Association. After successful completion, participants register for Part 2 - a 20-minute skills demonstration appointment.

*All courses provide a two-year certification through the American Heart Association.
