Each year the Alumni Association honors several individuals who have a record of distinction with the University of Colorado Denver’s Denver Campus and/or in their profession, community, and society at large.

Alumni Awards
The University of Colorado Denver Alumni Association solicits your nomination for these awards. This is your opportunity to recognize and thank those who have demonstrated outstanding support for the Downtown Campus or who have excelled in their careers and also in service to the community. Narrative support should provide evidence of outstanding contribution(s) within the guidelines of the criteria. Please submit your nomination by Friday March 1, 2013, these will be presented at Spring Commencement in May 2013.

Alumni Appreciation Award
The Alumni Appreciation Award recognizes notable contributions which bring outstanding benefits to the CU Denver Campus. This award is given only in the years in which a deserving candidate emerges. Nominees may be drawn from the community at-large and need not be alumni.
Alumni Leadership Award
The Alumni Leadership Award recognizes one’s remarkable ability to effect positive change in an individual or organization within the Denver Campus community. Nominees may be drawn from the community at large and need not be alumni.
Alumni Legislative Award
The Alumni Legislative Award is presented to a legislator who has assisted in the advancement of the CU Denver Campus and higher education in general.
Alumni Mack Easton Award
The Alumni Mack Easton Award recognizes outstanding voluntary contributions and service to the Denver Campus. The award was developed by the Association in memory of D. Mack Easton, the Dean of the "Denver Extension Center" in the early sixties. His vision enabled the extension to become a separate campus of the University of Colorado. Nominees may be drawn from the community at large and need not be alumni.
Alumni Recognition Award
The Alumni Recognition Award is presented to an alumnus/alumna who has excelled in his/her career field, as well as in service to the community. Former students who did not receive an official degree from the CU Denver Campus may also be considered.
