Applying for the Anschutz Medical Campus professional health programs

Applying for Denver Campus programs

The graduate admissions process for these programs is selective and personal--you apply directly to the department you are considering.  The department will guide and assist you with understanding and completing the application requirements,  and also notify you of your admission status. 

Before applying for admission, be sure to contact your department for individual program application requirements and deadlines.

Though application requirements vary according to the program of study you have selected, all applicants must submit:

  1.  an application for admission (parts I and II)
  2. a $50.00 application fee
  3. two official transcripts from each college or university you have attended (including foreign institutions)
  4. at least three letters of recommendation
  5. Standardized test scores and/or other supplemental information as requested by the department

Note: graduate applicants cannot track application status or receipt of credentials on-line.  Please contact your department for information about your application status.

After Admission

Enrollment Information

For Spring 2012

After your department has notified you that you have been accepted for admission, you will receive an additional notice of acceptance from the CU Denver Office of Admissions.  You may activate your UCDAccess portal account after you receive formal admission notification from the Office of Admissions.

Information about enrollment for the Spring 2012 semester can be found in the Your Next Steps brochure. This brochure will also be mailed to you prior to the start of the semester.

For Summer and Fall 2012

After your department has notified you that you have been accepted for admission, you will receive an additional notice of acceptance from the CU Denver Office of Admissions. 

Prior to the start of the registration period (which begins in late spring), and if you have been notified of your acceptance from the Office of Admissions, you will be prompted to activate a new portal account called UCDAccess.  In UCDAccess, you can find your registration time assignment, check your financial aid status, search for courses, pay the required enrollment deposit, register for classes, and more.  The UCDAccess portal is not available at this time—you will receive an email when UCDAccess is operational for your term of enrollment.

Additional enrollment information can be found in the "Your Next Steps" brochure which is mailed out to admitted students before the start of each semester.
