Taking the prerequisite courses at CU Denver

Students may apply to the Denver Campus as prenursing majors. Admission to the Denver Campus does not assure future admission to the College of Nursing.

GPA requirements

Admission is highly selective, and students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA to apply.

Admission decisions

Students interested in future admission to the College of Nursing are not placed on a waiting list. However, the College of Nursing maintains a small alternate list annually after admission decisions are made. The alternate list runs for approximately eight months. Applicants who are placed on the alternate list but not selected for admission must reapply.
