Above The Ordinary

Transfer Admission Requirements

If you want to transfer to CU Denver, expect something far above the ordinary.

We'll work with you to make transferring as easy as possible. To be considered for admission, you should have attained at least a 2.4 grade point average on all completed coursework from all colleges attended and be eligible to return to all previous institutions. However, each college and school at CU Denver has different minimum grade point averages, numbers of credits, and types of courses required for admission. Visit Admissions Criteria for the specific admissions standards.

To learn more about our academic programs visit any website listed below:

To complete your application for admission file:

  • Submit a Completed application
  • Non-Refundable $50 application fee.
  • One official transcript from each collegiate institution previously attended.
  • An official high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores if you're transferring with fewer than 30 semester hours of acceptable credit.
  • Admission decisions are made within 7-10 business days of receiving the completed application packet. Due to volume at various times of the year this time frame may increase.
  • Note: Until all collegiate transcripts are received showing a completion of 30 acceptible credits your application file will continue to request the high school transcript and test scores.
