Educational Case Managers and Educational Specialists
The Educational Case Managers and Educational Specialists at the Denver Transfer Initiative help make your transfer from CCD to UCD as easy as possible by providing advocacy, support, academic advising, and guidance throughout your entire higher education experience.
Transfer Peer Mentors
A Transfer Peer Mentor is a student DTI employee that works alongside your CCD Transfer Case Managers and UCD Educational Specialists. Their main purpose is to assist you in your academic goals and to help you be successful in college.
CCD students should begin meeting with their UCD Educational Case Manager up to one year prior to transferring.
Priority deadline is March 1st for Fall transfer students
Priority deadline is November 1st for Spring transfers
These deadlines will give you full consideration for financial aid and scholarships.
You will need to discuss this with your Educational Case Manager because each student’s timeline for graduation is different. The minimum number of credits needed to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree is 120.
Up to 60 credits will transfer from a community college. No remedial or developmental credits will count toward your 60 credits. See your UCD Case Manager/Educational Specialist for more information.
