Denver Transfer Initiative

The Denver Transfer Initiative is a federally funded Title V collaborative grant between the Community College of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver. The purpose of the grant is to help low income and/or Hispanic students successfully transfer from the Community College of Denver to the University of Colorado Denver and earn a Bachelor degree.

The Title V grant that funds DTI was originally scheduled to end in September 2011; however, DTI's leadership submitted an extension request of the grant to the Department of Education.  The extension will give DTI the opportunity to remain on the Auraria Campus.  DTI will continue "business as usual" with case management, peer mentors, academic support, work-shops, social events, and overall student support.

Please continue to use DTI as a resource and to use our resources which includes our computer lab, conference room for small study groups, the Lap Top Loan program, and tutoring referral just to name a few.
