Welcome to the UCD Quality Assurance Page. This is where you will find information about quality assurance and quality improvement for your human subjects research projects.
Quality assurance (QA) is not only an essential part to ensure compliance with regulations, laws and policies, but it is also an integral component to ongoing improvement and success of our investigators, research studies, human research protection program, and the University. UCD strives to ensure that human subject’s research adheres to the highest standards and policy.
As part of the UCD Office of Regulatory Compliance's quality assurance efforts, the Clinical Research Support Center conducts not-for-cause (random) and for-cause quality assurance reviews of research involving human subjects conducted at the Anschutz Medical Campus, the Downtown Campus, and at some of our affiliate institutions. These quality assurance reviews are intended to be an informative and educational experience, providing the participants with practical guidance and tools for conducting their project.
