All persons working with radioactive materials must complete the modular training program required by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the institution's Committee on Ionizing Radiation.
Modules 1, 3, 4, and 5 are exam sessions scheduled approximately every six weeks. Modules 3 and 5 are open book exams; please bring a current copy of the Radiation Safety Publications with you, if possible. Module 5 is only required for Principal Investigators.
Module 2 is a one hour lecture of central themes followed by an exam. Exam sessions are scheduled approximately every six weeks. Please bring a scientific calculator for the Module 2 exam.
Completing the Modules in numerical order is recommended, but not required.
