 China Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)

China Faculty Development in International Business Program - China FDIB program will examine China’s Belt and Road Initiative, tentative visits include Shanghai, Hangzhou, Dunhuang and Hong Kong. How will OBOR create connectivity and cooperation among China and as many as 70 countries in Eurasia, Oceania, and East Africa? How will it open new markets and sources of supply and raw materials for Chinese companies? What roles will the Chinese government in general and the Silk Road Fund and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in particular play in financing the massive projects under OBOR? How will OBOR influence and affect the competitive positions of China and the United States in the global economy?
