A Colorado-based medical device company focused on delivering elegant solutions to surgeons that minimize the damage caused by traditional surgical approaches to the spine.

  • Project: Determine best global medical tourism locales, business opportunities for the company.
  • Outcome: Recommended Dubai and Grand Bahamas; company currently developing Dubai market; hired one student for professional marketing position.

 

Mikron-Denver

A global company that builds high speed and high precision automated machines for assembly.

  • Project: Identify and justify the best technology opportunities for the company 20-30 years into the future.
  • Outcome: Identified 5 primary areas, proprietary project.

 

ArthroVentions, LLC

Located in Denver, develops technologies that enable more effective arthritic joint care, reducing the cost of treatment and improving the quality of life of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Project: Determine production, logistics and marketing partners in Japan for two key products.
  • Outcome: Met the objectives beyond expectation; hired one full-time CU Denver Business School MSIB student as a business developer intern.


City and County of Denver - Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT)

Since 2015, this relationship with the office has resulted in referrals of small-medium sized companies to our course for international business consulting project assistance. OEDIT also provides funding for one intern to carry the project forward within the company upon course completion. To date, we have successfully consulted to 5 Denver-based companies.

CU Denver Business School - Institute for International Business (IIB)
Project: “History of Craft Beer” preliminary case study.
Outcome: Developed a historical study of the craft beer industry’s recent global growth; evolving into 3-global university case studies for international journal publication.
