To her friends, Maddi Hunsley, is a comical genius. Her innate ability to understand and interpret scientific facts has always surprised her friends. So when Maddi won The Organic Chemistry Student of the Year, she was the only one that was truly surprised by her award. Her humility in the face of this award displayed her true character.

Maddi is not quite sure how she won the award, however she believes that professors first nominate students who have given an outstanding performance. From there the professors hold a super-secret meeting where they judge the students amongst themselves and choose a handful of students.

The award ceremony will be held on May 17 at which she will be presented with a certificate and recognized for her contributions to the chemistry department. Furthermore, a permanent legacy of her achievement will be rendered on a plaque in about three years.
