Student Academic Space

There are over fifteen spaces located throughout the Anschutz Medical Campus dedicated for student use.  They are student focused & directed, informal learning environments meant to promote a strong sense of community and serve to foster interprofessional connectivity and networking.  These spaces provide an opportunity for extra- and co-curricular discussion and informal interaction within and across disciplines.

The center point of the Student Academic Space is the INtermission Café which has been equipped with two large screen TVs and a sound system appropriate for hosting student events.

Within each SAC space, students can host interprofessional activities where all students from the entire campus can learn about current issues in each of the health profession and graduate basic science programs.  The Interprofessional Education Initiative is also partnering with the Student Senate to support the growth of Interprofessional Student Organizations.

Each space includes a refrigerator for the students to store snacks/meals as well as a microwave and coffee maker.

Please contact Reesie Roland to reserve Student Academic space or the INtermission Cafe.
