Dr. Kosirog is a Clinical Pharmacist and Assistant Professor at Salud Family Health Centers and the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. She graduated with her PharmD from Butler University and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Wishard Health Services (now Eskenazi Health, Indianapolis, IN) one of the nation’s largest safety-net health systems. She moved to Colorado to complete a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at Kaiser Permanente Colorado and is now Board Certified in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy. She has been providing care for patients at the Brighton and Commerce City Salud clinics since 2013. As one of the first clinical pharmacists at Salud, she developed and implemented robust clinical pharmacy services that have provided care for thousands of underserved patients. She developed several Collaborative Drug Therapy Management Protocols and is an active member of the Clinical Quality Team at her practice site. She serves as a core preceptor and site coordinator for the Federally Qualified Health Center Track of the University of Colorado PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency. Additionally, she routinely precepts Doctor of Pharmacy students during IPPE and APPE rotations, encouraging students to explore the unique Community Health Center environment. In her free time, she enjoys spending time hiking with her husband and chasing her toddler.
