PhD Programs


Within the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, there are PhD programs specializing in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical translational science, pharmaceutical outcomes research and molecular toxicology. Areas of interest include pharmaceutical biotechnology and biophysics, cancer pharmacology and molecular toxicology. The pharmaceutical sciences and toxicology programs are housed within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, a research-intensive department with a focus in both basic and translational pharmaceutical sciences.

The PhD in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research is housed within the Center for Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research (CePOR) and managed by the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, a department with a focus on clinical education and patient-oriented research and pharmacy practice.
