Residency Special Features: This residency offers an excellent opportunity for a Pharm.D. graduate to explore many areas of interest in a dynamic and progressive organization. The resident is encouraged to tailor his or her experience by choosing from a wide variety of acute and ambulatory care practice sites. Upon successful completion, the resident will be competent in the provision of pharmaceutical care and will understand the interplay between pharmacy and the health care system across the continuum of care.

Pharmacy services are decentralized, serving patients from numerous outpatient and inpatient satellites. Use of automation exposes the resident to an integrated model of patient care that emphasizes clinical services. Our close affiliation with the University of Colorado Denver School of Pharmacy gives the resident an excellent opportunity to interact with faculty in advanced practice roles.
