Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency

This is an ASHP approved ambulatory care PGY2 pharmacy residency that has been established since 1995. It has two tracks, one in family medicine, and a second in safetynet clinics. Both have an academic pharmacy practice focus. The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, located in Aurora, Colorado, is a major integrated academic health sciences center that includes Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing and Dental Medicine. This is a state of the art academic center that has a complete complement of educational and clinical enterprises. The longitudinal practice site is at the University of Colorado Denver Family Medicine Clinic (the AF Williams Family Medicine Center, located in Denver) for the family medicine track and at the Salud Family Health Centers for the safetynet clinics track. Additional sites are within the University of Colorado Hospital clinics and with affiliated organizations in the Denver metro area.
