Contact the Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education at the earliest phases of your planning process. We cannot accredit programs that have already been designed and announced. Here is information about the accreditation process:
- Contact the CE Coordinator about your activity. As an accredited provider of continuing pharmacy education, we can advise on planning, publicity and design of content to make your program as effective as possible for the pharmacist audience.
- If you are planning a live activity, complete the application for accrediting a Live Activity (PDF). If your activity is a home study, or enduring activity, such as a printed monograph or online program, complete the application for accrediting an Enduring Activity (PDF). Please submit the application to the CE Coordinator by mail or e-mail with all requested information. Fees for accreditation services will be determined upon review of the program application.
- All promotional materials must be approved before distribution and must meet ACPE guidelines as shown in the Publicity Checklist (PDF). The Office will supply an accreditation statement and ACPE logo to include in publicity once accreditation is granted.
- We work closely with the University of Colorado Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development for activities that are jointly accredited for physicians and pharmacists.
